This is a song about shapes wrote whilst heavily pissed on cider after an amazing party where I saw an old tutor do a great set of Jake Thackery songs as "Fake Thackery".. Well actually in was written on the way back from said party after an argument with my band mate/house mate who was sick of me talking about the same songs all the time. So I wrote this!! We got in and rolled a smoke then we brainstormed a lotta different shape names.. Afterwards I wrote them into silly lyrics this was the result..

Dudes Of Neptune are also a local band we know who have done a lot to help us over the years so I put them into the end of the song!

LYRICS:

\Verse 1/
In some circles sit the squares
In their myriad of pyramid schemes and affairs
At least a diamond has some valid points
The oval is a confused circle after a joint
Stars are prone to implode
A crescent can sometimes be a road

\Chorus #1/
But dodecahedron is so over looked
Just like the trapezium I saw once in my physics book
Can’t recall the exact number of sides
As geometry has never filled me with much pride

\Verse 2/
There is some power in the pentagon
And some occult connections with the octagon
It takes three for a love triangle
Hexagons make quite funky floor tiles
A cylinder can be an engine part
What pumps our blood looks nothing like a heart

\Chorus #2/
But dodecahedron is so over looked
Just like that trapezium I saw once in my physics book
An ellipse has no relation to an eclipse
And sugar cubes can benefit some Dudes Of Neptune..
