Bella - C Barry 08/03/2016 ——————————— I wove a strand of this my tale Clandestine secret of mine Snared in cobwebbed whispered book-spines Sending shivers down the aeons Cast into history unnamed or truly known Encased within knotted tangles - This hair: a cruel unkempt reminder of the outside of this crucible.. untamed Upon this mortal frame remains Where are the small mercies of the days? - Sad to be immortalized by many a theory A mystery A circumstance A tale For many stories are unveiled Unsexed from my destiny or persona That once carved my character I remain Something more But somehow less ——— WHO AM I?

about

Bella concerns the unsolved mystery of Hagley Woods.
Adapted by Carnie Features from the newspaper reports of W. Byford ''Quaestor'' Jones; BELLA IN THE WYCH ELM is a phantasmagoria of ghosts, spies, skeletons and the dark heart of the rural Midlands countryside. A mood piece chronicling the fateful day of the discovery of an unidentified skeleton in Hagley Wood to the folkloric theories that followed and of the lasting legacy today. This film will awash you with a ghostly kaleidoscope encapsulating a most celebrated strain of spooky Midlands heritage. This score is both ecclectic & ethereal, it fits like a glove to all that occurs, ebbing with ectoplasmic beauty.
