Jay Winter Nice music to work to Favorite track: Steer Across The Firmament.

This album's theme is that of ascending as a waveform at death, the theme was conceived before such happenings of this year occurred.
This album is therefore dedicated to the memory of my dear friend, enthusiastic fan & fellow music lover, Clive Dee, an authentic poet, wonderful father, and beautiful human, Clive will forever reside in our hearts. His quiet, yet well measured demur and gentle humour will long stay with me.
Clive Dee
3rd May 1961 - 11th July 2016
In April Clive sent a message after hearing 'Shorley Knot' stating "Seems meet and right to be listening to this on a ward a hundred yards away from Worcester Royal Hospital in the early hours. Were the choir singing Allegri's Miserere?. Nice one anyway."
Clive was referring to the cut up Chamberlain sample featured on this track, which is the piece he refers to, albeit slightly reworked.

released July 30, 2016

Cover painting by David Simpson 2016
(art and layout is subject to change)
all other art was cobbled together by moi with various cuttings and paisley carpets!
Accidents & Emergence conceived, produced and arranged by Craigus Barry between 2013 & 2016
The whole album was arranged and sequenced (almost entirely) on ReacTable Mobile on a Samsung Galaxy Note 1 twat phone. Comprised of: various field recordings, regurgitated studio tracks of Becky Rose's beautiful vocal, synths sampled as early as 2003, David Headon's samples of drills, hammers and chisels, Ed Steelefox's cymbal and hi-hat, a broken jack lead, and various other devices, lowfi choral sections, synths, a childs glockenspiel + Toy Piano, Chamberlain, and... mellotrons. You gotta have some mellotron!
Also featured on this album are the disembodied (and sometimes altered and manipulated,) voices of : the late great Alan Watts, the deep thinker Discordian pope himself, Robert Anton Wilson,
EMILY HÂF, and Rachel Narwhal Cunnings.
Hail Eris!

"You are ready... you are ready... to wake up... to wake up.. you're going to wake up now.. or if not you're going to.. you're going to carry on pretending that you're just a poor little me"
Track Name: Opposing Spectrums ("The World Is A Toilet")
"The world is a toilet.. and all the people in it are assholes"
Track Name: Somnambulist Distant Mirrors
"Whatever reality tunnel we organize our perceptions into is not the world..

science can only answer questions like; 'how does it register on this instrument and how does it register on that instrument?'
To ask what light really is, is basically a meaningless question, science can't answer that..

How many different signals are coming in that you usually don't notice?

You either imprint what I call an infophile tenancy in varying degrees, which means the world is a safe place and you keep on exploring more and more,
Or you imprint an infophobic reflex in which the world seems like a sinister and threatening place."
Track Name: Aloha Astraaal Traveler
"Ladies & gentlemen: please exit the planet via the appropriate tall building provided, and I will see you in the astraaal. Thank you for travelling on planet earth (giggles)"
